WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA., MARCH 12, 2010 – Crunchies Food Company today refreshes its company website, CrunchiesFood.com, with new visuals, greater functionality, an emphasis on social networking and a number of other new features.

One of the most exciting new aspects of the site is a Crunchies® Club section with a Moms’ Club, Kids’ Club, Teens’ Club and a Fitness Club, designed to target specific needs of fans of Crunchies® with exclusive content. Links to Crunchies’® vibrant Facebook and Twitter accounts are also now prominently displayed on the site.

Visitors can also now explore an updated events section and an expanded collection of recipes featuring Crunchies® products. There is also an improved shopping section which makes ordering Crunchies® directly from CrunchiesFood.com both convenient and simple.

“We are very pleased with the new site; it’s inviting, user-friendly, colorful and fun,” says Jim Lacey, CEO of Crunchies Food Company. “We hope it will help our customers, not only learn more about our brand but connect with one another through our online networks.”

Crunchies® are made in the U.S. through a unique freeze-drying process in which individually frozen fruits and vegetables are placed in a refrigerated vacuum chamber that removes up to 97% of the moisture. This special process gives Crunchies® their crunchy texture and allows them to retain a high percentage of the nutritious enzymes that are invariably lost through traditional heat drying.
